If I were to tell you that Trent Reznor was producing a Hip-Hop album you'd probably call my crazy. If I were to then say it was Saul Williams latest work you'd probably say "Who?". And when I tell you that its free, you interest might peek a little.
But thats besides the point.
Combining William's unorthodox, intellectual rhymes with Reznor's dark and brooding production is an idea no record label would approve. The music is neither radio friendly or commercially viable. William's often channels Reznor so well its as if it's not Williams at all (as in the Sunday Bloody, Sunday cover), but Nine Inch Nails this is not. Instead the music is an enigma, a darkly woven auditory journey that cannot be understood through one listen alone.
On top of that, its free.
